The French Quarter is the heart of New Orleans, the district as a whole is a National Historic Landmark, the Quarter has over 200 years of history jammed into 13 x 6 blocks. It’s pretty crazy here! Every building and every street has its own unique identity. The Quarter is classy and seedy. It’s a pub, restaurant, red light, voodoo, haunted, religious, and entertainment mashup. I couldn’t imagine how much crazier it gets during the Mardi Gras season!

My website isn’t up to date. I am an artist, using oils on canvas. I love your photos. They are very artistic and I love to set such as these to bright reds, greens and blues exagerating the colors. I hope it would be ok with you if I used some of your photos as a base, a reference for my paintings. I would simplify some things add people, musicians, colors that maybe aren’t even there so it would look quite different than your work not a copy of it. I am on facebook if you care to look at some of my recent work. Search for Terry Sita and send an invite and I will confirm and you can look at the pictures. Thanks and again I love your work. Terry
